In the book, Th1rteen R3aons Why by Jay Asher, is about this
girl named Hannah, she committed suicide because she couldn’t take school
anymore and about what people thought about her. After she died she left
audiotapes about her life and what people did to her, the audiotapes talks
about why she suicide, but she didn’t want everyone to hear those tapes so she
left a list of people’s names so those tapes cane only go to the people she
wants. When a kid named Clay Jenson receives those tapes, and heard what happened
to Hannah he started to feel really sad for her. During hearing those tapes I
noticed a pattern after Clay finished hearing one tape about the person he
started he didn’t want to see their faces at school.
One example is when he heard about Courtney and what she did to Hannah. He was furious with Courtney because she used Hannah; Courtney needed a lift to a party so she went with Hannah. When they were at the party Courtney left Hannah and before Courtney left she told Hannah, “Don’t leave okay, and remember you’re my ride home. During the party Courtney was spreading rumors about Hannah, she was saying that Hannah is always with boys and she brings them home at midnight. After hearing this Clay hated Courtney, Courtney is a fake because she is nice to people because she wants to be popular, she is nice to people but she hates them inside she just acts nice because she needs them to do something.
Another example is when Clay heard about Pepping Tom, or we can say Tyler, Tyler was stalking Hannah; Tyler took pictures of Hannah while she was in her bedroom at midnight. Where ever there was Hannah there was Tyler, but of course he would be hiding so no one would see him. Hannah figured out that someone was stalking her because at night when everything was quiet she heard clicking sounds. She knew someone was stalking her but she didn't know how. She told all this to Courtney and Courtney wanted to go to her house and find out who is was. So when it was night Courtney and Hannah was waiting for clicking sounds. When they heard it, in a count of three they opened the blinds and saw that it was Tyler standing outside of Hannah’s window taking pictures. Clay was now really furious, he was so furious that he went outside of Tyler window and was about to hit his window with a rock.
Another example is when Hannah was in Blue Spot Liquor, she was buying candy when she heard the bell jingle, meaning someone came in. it was a boy… from her school. He did something that made Clay feel like to go and punch that boy’s face, because he slapped Hannah’s… not face but butt. Hannah was also full of anger, but she didn't do anything, she just said, “Excuse me.” And was about to leave when Alex the boy who slapped her butt grabbed her by the hand and said like he was innocent; “Clam down Hannah I was just playing.” This to Hannah met that her butt was his toy that he can touch it any time. Clay was super furious because he had a crush on Hannah and felt mad because Alex touched her and didn't say sorry; actually he didn't even need to touch her.
I think that this pattern occurs because Clay had a crush on her, but he was afraid that everything was true about her. But when he heard the tapes about her he felt really guilty because he felt like he could've have done something, but he was scared. So when he heard what those people did to her he felt really pissed, because they had no right to play with her life like that. I think the author’s message is sometimes you have to jump in and try to save the person from dying, that you can’t believe in everyone you have to ignore the things you think is a lie. I think that author’s intention was he wants students to do that to stop being so scared and jump in and help people out. His intention was that you should play with people’s lives and you should treat them the way you would want to be treated. This pattern tells us that Clay really had strong feelings for Hannah, what I can infer is that Clay is never going to forget about Hannah, because it taught him that if he loved a person and saw that the person was having a hard time he should help them out and not think about what other

Your response was good. It's very detailed without any spoilers, unlike mine. You kept with focus. (Aussie accent idk why) Kayz byez.
