In the book Why We Broke Up by Daniel Handler is about a couple min and Ed and the reasons why they broke up. While reading this book i noticed that the book shows people in individuals groups, for example Min was with her group of friends and when she started to date Ed she left them, it was like she became too popular and too busy to be with them. She was always with Ed or with Ed’s friend. in the book it also shows people feeling alone, for example when Al ( MIn’s best friend) were hanging posters around the school, Ed came out of nowhere and he ripped a piece of the poster to write his number on it to give it to MIn. Al at the moment was shocked and Min said nothing, she was just talking to Ed, i feel like at that moment Al must have felt really alone, because Min and Ed was just ignoring him. This book also shows people working together, for example Min is throwing a party for her favorite actress and everyone is working together to make the party wonderful, Even some of Min’s friends are helping out with the party.
